Grand Knight's Report

Please take advantage of all the activities going on at your club. I am sure you can find some things to do to add some fun in your life here at the K

Thanks to all the Knights that have been standing outside the Planned Parenthood Clinic for the Right for Life. On March 17th there were six in attendance four of which were Knights from our council, and on March 24th there were eleven attending of which six were Knights from our council. Each Sunday we pray the rosary for the Right for Life. This vigil will continue every Sunday during Lent at 2 p.m. The last Sunday of Lent (Palm Sunday) we plan on doing the Stations of the Cross for Life to start at 3 p.m. Please make an effort to attend. Those that can't stand for an hour can bring a lawn chair. Please bring your Rosary. All are welcome. If you need a ride contact myself or Joe Vilhosky at 330-833-3534.

A special thanks to Joe Vilhosky for setting up the nine day Novena for Life online and for planning the prayer vigil at the Planned Parenthood Clinic.

The Marian Icon and prayer vigil for the Persecuted Christians was well attended. I also want to thank Fr. Ed for the beautiful ceremony and the Knights in Regalia. We had over 10 Knights present along with their families.

The Men's Fellowship Conference was well attended with over 200 men. Our council had 15 knights in attendance. The day was filled with songs and spiritual awakenings. The Mass celebrated by Bishop Murry was a beautiful ending to the day.

As you know we are still looking for Catholic gentlemen to join our council to help us grow and keep our council alive and vibrant. You will be seeing in the coming weeks requests to assist us in our parish roundtable program. This is an opportunity to become involved in YOUR parish helping your pastor to keep the church in tip top shape and assist him in needs of the church. We will be doing a clean-up of the cemetery at St Barbara's on Saturday April 6th at 9:00 am. Please call Joe Vilhosky who is St. Barbara's roundtable chairman at 330-833-3534.

On April 23rd after our Regular Council meeting we will have our annual Youth Awards. On April 30th we will be having our Past Grand Knight Dinner starting at 7:00 pm.

Please make sure your dues are paid. If you have any questions contact myself or Tim Paul as soon as possible. Also, if you haven't sold or purchased the cash bonanza tickets the sooner you get them in to us the more money the council gets for our charity programs.

I hope this Lenten and Easter season has been a wonderful experience for you and your family. KYRIE ELEISON
