Grand Knight's Report

Well March has arrived and along with it the beginning of Lent. The season of Lent is a wonderful time to renew our faith life. Christ gave all for us because he so loved us I believe we can take the 40 days of Lent leading up to the greatest event the world will ever know the resurrection of our Lord and SAVIOR Jesus Christ and use them for renewal acts of charity towards our fellow man and women. Maybe instead of giving something up for Lent maybe doing something for others may be a good way of honoring our Lords sacrifice for each and every person on this earth.

We had our 200 club dinner on Friday February 18th and I believe everyone had a good time. A special thanks to Terry and her staff for a wonderful meal and outstanding service.

We will be holding a recruitment drive at all three parishes on March 18th and 19th. You can help us in this effort by asking someone you know to join our council we really could use your help.

Please read this newsletter and support the council and the foundation in all the events going on all month. Please make an effort to make a council meeting we would love to see you.

My quote of the month is by Paul Tillich. The first duty of love is to listen. This really makes sense. As always please pray the rosary a wonderful devotion especially during Lent. Kyrie Eleison on our families our church and our nation.
